Midmed has also been certified as meeting the ISO 14001 standard for management of environmental impact. The text below describes Midmed’s efforts of Implementing Integrated Management Systems.
The scope of Midmed’s IMS includes the following activities, products and services:
- The supply of hospital and medical equipment to public and private hospitals, medical practitioners and wholesalers of hospital and medical equipment.
The IMS scope extends to Midmed’s premises at 4/62 Borthwick Avenue, Murarrie, and any activities, products and services of the type described above that are performed offsite (e.g. services completed at clients’ premises). The IMS’ scope does not extend to Midmed’s additional sites.
Midmed has determined that the following clauses are not applicable within the scope of its IMS, for the following reasons:
- Clause 188.8.131.52 of ISO 9001, as Midmed does not complete any measurement of product and service conformity, and as such does not utilise any measuring equipment
- Clause 8.3 (and subclauses) of ISO 9001, as Midmed does not complete design or development work as part of its operations.
