IV Armor

Midmed’s IV-ARMOR minimises downstream occlusions while enabling patient movement. The flexible protective overlay is the ideal way to maximise IV patency while protecting the site from patient tampering. It has several benefits, including reducing the introduction of infection associated with IV reinsertion and reducing downstream occlusion alarms. The IV-ARMOR also reduces the risk of catheter kinking in a bend, such as a wrist or elbow, and reduces the risk of catheter movement in an area of bony prominence, such as the back of the hand or the forearm. IV-ARMOR uses skin-friendly adhesive and comes in a one-size-fits-most box of 10.
