Portering Chair – Bariatric
The Bristol Maid Bariatric Portering Chair is purpose-built for transporting patients up to 380 kilograms in comfort and safety. It features flame-retardant, antimicrobial vinyl upholstery, drop-down armrests for easy side access, and a sliding footrest for added convenience. A retractable diagonal seatbelt and cushioned braking castors enhance patient security. The chair includes fittings for IV poles, personal item hooks, and a rear pocket for notes or X-rays. Its rear-steer design and 200 mm wheels provide excellent manoeuvrability in clinical settings. Available in a range of colours, it’s ideal for bariatric patient transfer in Australian healthcare environments.
